Grand County School District

The mission of the Grand County School District is to combine the resources of the schools, community, parents and students to provide the opportunities necessary for individual academic, vocational and personal growth.

Due to recent funding shortfall, Grand County School District is in
the process of reviewing and revising its Facilities Master Plan.
The District is establishing a Facilities and Land Committee and
invites interested citizens to participate.

Participation commitment includes:
  a) meeting twice a month;
  b) willingness to spend time reviewing school facilities and land
      issues as well as to conduct research on assigned topics; and,
  c) committee participation up to 18 months.

Interested citizens are invited to attend the first meeting:
♦ Tuesday, July 20, 1:00 pm in the basement of Zion's Bank.

Grand County School District is excited to announce
the Ribbon Cutting of our new facilities on August 31st.
Technical Science and Art Center at 604 S. 400 E. will be at 5:00 pm
and Helen M. Knight Elementary at 505 N. Mivida will be at 6:30 pm.

School Start-Up Information:
School Starts Tuesday, September 7th!
